A parts list built on manufacturer codes is the best protection against wrong deliveries. Marketing names are ambiguous ("Galaxy A15" covers two model codes and several colours); the code on the flex label or the service-pack box is not. This guide walks through the numbering systems in our catalog and shows how each piece of the string maps to a physical difference.
Samsung: GH82, GH96, GH97 and GH81
Samsung service codes follow the pattern GHxx-nnnnnX: a two-digit prefix, a five-digit serial and a letter. The prefixes you will see most often:
- GH82: the current prefix for complete display assemblies and most sub-assemblies: GH82-33396C/33386C (S24 Ultra, Titanium Yellow, with frame), GH82-33391A (FLEX MAIN SM-S928), GH82-33399C (MIDDLE FRAME SM-S928).
- GH96: in our listings this prefix is where you find most frameless panels and charging boards: GH96-13030A (S20 Plus, no frame), GH96-15077C (A13 4G, no frame), GH96-16497A (Charging Board SM-S928).
- GH97: used on many older assemblies and still on some current models: GH97-19732A/19753A (A3 2017, Black), GH97-30433C (A16 4G, with frame).
- GH81: typical for entry-level A0x assemblies with frame: GH81-21626A (A03), GH81-24189A (A05).
The prefix alone does not tell you whether a frame is included; read the listing text ("(with Frame)", "(no Frame)"). See the separate guide on frame and frameless assemblies.
Suffix letter: the colour variant
The final letter separates colour versions of the same assembly. For the S24 Ultra: GH82-33396A is Titanium Gray/Orange/Violet, GH82-33396B is Titanium Black/Blue/Green and GH82-33396C is Titanium Yellow. For the A3 2017: A is Black, C is Blue, B is Gold, D is Pink. The letters are not a universal colour key; "A" is black on one model and white on another (GH97-18249A, A3 2016, White). Always read the colour in the listing, not the letter.
Dual codes with a slash
When Samsung issues more than one code for the same physical part, usually for different regions or production runs, we list them together: GH82-33637A/33638A/33831A (Galaxy A15). Any of the three numbers on the customer's old flex label matches this listing. Some other brands use the word OR instead: 560000600J200 OR 56000K00J200 (Xiaomi Mi 10, Green).
E and EU variants
A trailing E or EU (for instance GH97-23123A E, Galaxy A2 Core, or GH96-15021A/15021C EU, A73 5G) marks the European code of an assembly that also exists under a non-European code. The two can differ in connector or frame details, which is why entry models often appear twice: GH81-21625A is the non-EU code for the A03 (SM-A035F) and GH81-21626A the EU code (SM-A035G). Match the model suffix on the phone's label (F, G, B, etc.) with the listing.
Model code versus marketing name
SM-A156 is the Galaxy A15 5G; SM-A155 is the Galaxy A15 4G; SM-S928 is the S24 Ultra; SM-F731 is the Z Flip5. The letter after SM- indicates the family (S, A, M, F for foldables, N for Note, G for older S and Xcover) and the digits the generation and position. Our listings show both, but the SM code is the one to put on a parts list.
Huawei and Honor: 0235x codes
Huawei spare parts use an eight-character alphanumeric code starting with 0235. The fifth character increases with newer product generations: 0 on 2015-era models (02350KKK, G8), 2 and 3 on 2019-2020 models (02352QMV Honor 20 Lite, 02353QJJ Honor 9X Lite), A on 2022 and later (0235AGDN, Honor 90 5G). There is no colour letter; each colour has its own full code, so the Honor 9X Lite in Green is 02353QJT, not a suffix of 02353QJJ. Several codes can map to one colour, which we list with slashes: 02355MUP/02355UMS is the P30 Pro in Amber Sunrise. Huawei device codes in brackets (VTR-L29, MAR-L21MEA, LYA-L09) identify the hardware variant and should be quoted alongside the part number.
Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco: 56xx codes
Xiaomi display codes are twelve or thirteen characters long and start with 56. The model block at the end of the string stays constant across colours while one character near the start changes: for the Poco X6 5G / Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, 560001N16P00 is White, 560002N16P00 is Blue and 560003N16P00 is Black, all sharing N16P00. Twelve- and thirteen-character codes sit side by side in the catalog, sometimes for the same part (560000600J200 OR 56000K00J200, Mi 10). Some older codes end in 033, such as 560610057033 (Poco F1), but many do not (5609100920C7, Redmi Note 7, White), so the ending is not a rule to rely on. Because one Xiaomi assembly often serves two marketing names (Poco M6 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G share 5600030N6P00), the code is the only reliable identifier.
Apple: internal stock codes and SCREEN listings
Apple part numbers are not used in the independent repair trade, so our iPhone listings carry internal stock codes: current A-nnn codes with a structured description, and older LCDnnnn codes (LCD0801 iPhone 8 Black, LCD0802 iPhone 8 White, LCD0821 iPhone 8 Plus Black). Read A-331 SCREEN-14G PRO MAX (2022) BLACK - SOFT OLED - DD (With IC) left to right: generation (14G = iPhone 14 family), variant (Pro Max), launch year, colour, panel tier, panel maker (DD) and whether the display IC is fitted. "(Without IC)" units, such as A-029 SCREEN-12G PRO / 12G (2020) BLACK - SERVICE (Without IC), require the original display chip to be transferred.
Google, Motorola, Oppo, Realme and OnePlus
- Google: G949-nnnnn-nn, e.g. G949-00239-01 (Pixel 6a).
- Motorola: 5D68C plus five digits, e.g. 5D68C21403 (Edge 30 Neo, Black).
- Oppo and Realme: seven digits, 49xxxxx on earlier and 413xxxx on newer models, e.g. 4130428 (Oppo A78 5G), 4130359 (Realme 10 4G).
- OnePlus: a ten-digit 2011100xxx or 1001100xxx code paired with its Oppo-system number, e.g. 2011100401/4130223 (Nord 2T 5G, Gray).
Checklist before you send a parts list
- Copy the full code including the slash set and any E/EU mark.
- Add the SM, Huawei or Xiaomi model code, not just the marketing name.
- State the colour in words; do not rely on the suffix letter.
- State the tier you need (service pack, ASMBLD, RNW, OLED, CHN ORG); see quality tiers.
Codes you cannot place? Email sales3@apexgmbh.com with a photo of the label, or send it by WhatsApp to +43 660 2015298, and we will identify the listing. Questions about quotes, trade accounts, shipping or returns are answered in the wholesale FAQ.
