Every screen in the Service Pack LCD catalog carries a tier label next to the manufacturer code. The label tells a repair shop more than the product photo ever will: who built the assembly, what panel sits under the glass, and whether it arrives as a factory-sealed service pack. This page explains each term as it is used in our listings, how to recognise the tier on the bench, and which repair job it fits.
Why the tier label matters
Take one model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S928). The catalog lists GH82-33396C/33386C as an original service pack, GH82-33396C/33386C (ASMBLD) as an assembled unit and GH82-33396C/33386C (RNW) as a renewed unit. Same Samsung code, same Titanium Yellow frame, three different products. If a parts list only says "S24 Ultra screen yellow", the wrong tier can be shipped and the fault will only show up once a customer collects the phone.
The tiers one by one
Original Service Pack
The display assembly exactly as the manufacturer supplies it to its own service network: factory-laminated panel, touch layer, flex and (where applicable) the mid-frame, sealed in the manufacturer's labelled box. In our catalog this is the default tier; a code without a suffix in brackets, such as GH82-33637A/33638A/33831A for the Galaxy A15 (SM-A155/A156) or 02353QJJ for the Honor 9X Lite, is a service pack. This is the tier for warranty-grade work, insurance repairs and any customer who expects the phone to behave exactly as before.
Assembled (ASMBLD)
An assembled unit is an original display module that has been assembled into the frame or chassis. It is not a factory-sealed service pack from the manufacturer's service channel. Listings carry the code with (ASMBLD), for example GH82-31200A/31201A (ASMBLD) for the Galaxy A34 5G. It suits volume repairs where the frame must be replaced but a factory-sealed service pack is not required. If you are unsure which form your process requires, ask sales before you order.
Renewed (RNW)
Renewed means an original screen that has been professionally refurbished. It is not a new part and it is not a factory-sealed service pack. We mark it with (RNW) on the manufacturer code (GH82-33396A/33386A (RNW), S24 Ultra Titanium Gray/Orange/Violet) or under an internal stock code such as S-1156 (RNW) for the Galaxy A52 4G/5G in Blue. Renewed units fit trade-in refurbishment and out-of-warranty repairs where the customer has agreed to a refurbished screen.
RPLCD
RPLCD marks an original screen whose front glass has been replaced. In our catalog it currently appears on foldable outer displays, listed as their own variant: GH97-29135A (RPLCD) for the Z Flip5 (SM-F731) outer screen and GH97-30012E (RPLCD) for the Z Flip6 (SM-F741). It is listed separately from the plain service-pack code and from renewed stock. Order it when the cover display of a foldable needs replacing and the customer accepts a replaced-glass part.
OLED: soft and hard
In the catalog, OLED on its own denotes an aftermarket OLED panel, not the manufacturer's part. For Samsung we list it with the matching code so you can cross-reference, e.g. GH82-33214A/33215A (OLED) for the Galaxy A25 5G. For iPhone, the listing names the substrate:
- Soft OLED: flexible substrate like the factory panel, thin, fits the frame without extra pressure on the edges. Example: A-315 SCREEN-17G PRO MAX (2025) BLACK - SOFT OLED - RJ.
- Hard OLED: rigid glass substrate, slightly thicker and more sensitive to edge impact, usually with a marginally larger bezel. Example: A-280 SCREEN-16E / 17E (2025) BLACK HARD OLED - ZY.
The two-letter suffix at the end of an iPhone listing (RJ, DD, JK, ZY, GX, TC) names the panel maker (brand), so you can reorder the same build you have already tested in your workshop.
Incell / TFT
An in-cell or TFT screen is an aftermarket panel that replaces the OLED with a backlit LCD. It is the entry tier: thicker than OLED, draws more power and cannot show true black. Listings read TFT / INCELL, e.g. A-316 SCREEN-17G (2025) BLACK TFT / INCELL - JK. It is an option for loan phones, resale units and repairs where the customer accepts an aftermarket LCD panel.
CHN ORG
CHN ORG is an original manufacturer part sourced from the China market channel rather than from the manufacturer's service-pack channel. The component is genuine; what differs is the supply route, and it is not a factory-sealed service pack. We use the mark mainly on small parts: SP-082 Charging Board SM-S928 (S24 Ultra 5G) (CHN ORG) sits next to GH96-16497A Charging Board SM-S928 (S24 Ultra 5G) (SERVICE) for the same S24 Ultra, and SP-222 FLEX VOLUME SM-A155/A156 (A15 4G/5G) (CHN ORG) next to its service-pack sibling. Choose CHN ORG for sub-assembly work where service-pack packaging is not required.
A Grade
( A GRADE ) marks a used original screen that has been graded A. It is not a new part. Examples are G949-00219-01 ( A GRADE ) for the Pixel 6 Pro and the Huawei P30 range marked "A Grade Direct from Huawei". Order it where the customer accepts a graded used original screen rather than a new one.
